Travel fees apply. North Carolina does not currently permit remote online notarization.

Identification Requirements

All signers must present a valid, unexpired photo ID at the time of notarization. Acceptable forms of identification include:

♦ North Carolina driver’s license or state-issued ID card
♦ U.S. passport or passport card
♦ U.S. military ID
♦ Permanent Resident (Green) Card
♦ Driver’s license or ID issued by another U.S. state or territory

If none of these are available, credible witnesses may be used when permitted under North Carolina notary law.

Notary Disclosure

Clear Point Consulting Services is commissioned in the State of North Carolina and authorized to perform notarial acts within the state. All signers must appear in person and present valid identification.

We are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice or prepare legal documents for others. We also cannot choose your form or tell you which notarial certificate to use.

If your document does not include notarial wording, we can provide North Carolina certificate forms for you to choose from.

Do not sign or date your document until you are in front of the notary.
